We were very pleased to have a number of people attend our virtual Q&A sessions in December, and we hope that a number of you who came along will become more involved by joining as a forum member.
For those who attended we were able to share the process of creating a Neighbourhood plan, in addition to two videos, one in which we interviewed residents of Mabgate, Lincoln Green and Burmantofts to hear their feelings about the community and where they live and also an interview with key individuals involved in the Hyde Park Neighbourhood Plan, to hear about their progress and any advice they could provide. We were also able to answer any questions that arose throughout.
We hosted our First Forum Meeting on Thursday 18 February, it was an introductory session with a focus on the next neighbourhood zine! 22 residents and organisations attended. The next meeting will be held on Thursday 25 March at 6 pm on Zoom.
Keep an eye on our website for details and updates about the Neighbourhood Plan, and if you live or work in the neighbourhood and are interested in being involved then drop us a line at emma.bf@esamail.org.uk

Neighbourhood Plan
A Neighbourhood Plan is an important tool that gives people a say in the future of the places they live and work. Including where new homes, shops, offices and public spaces can be built.
