In partnership with Artist-in-Residence Taipei and Platform Asia, East Street Arts is looking for applications from artists based in the UK for a six-week residency in Treasure Hill Artist Village, Taipei, between August and September 2024.
The residency will support one artist to visit Taipei to research and develop new projects. We are looking for artists who work with audio-visual media and have a strong interest in collaborating with communities, local residents, and other artists to experiment, enhance your skills, and expand your network.
Leeds based sound artist Sayang was in residence at the Taipei Artist Village from January until March as part of an exchange. You can find out more about this here.
A call-out document for the residency can be downloaded below, which includes further information about applicant criteria, artist fees, the application process and timeline. Deadline 12pm, Sunday 5 May 2024.
If you have any questions regarding the residency, please contact Kate West at kate@esamail.org.uk
