Here at East Street Arts we’re delighted to invite you to the launch of the ‘Humans Of Palestine’ exhibition which we’re supporting Leeds Palestinian Film Festival with producing alongside this years film festival. The show supports and showcases photography from The Network of Photographers for Palestine, a collective of activists and photographers seeking to provide Palestinian photographers with a worldwide audience and varied platforms. You can read more about each photographer here!
The exhibition will ignite people’s curiosity, and tempt them to explore further the humanity we share with Palestinians. Having the exhibition as part of the festival offers people the perfect opportunity to find out more about Palestine by discovering the film programme as well. Come and see it for yourself between 1st -28th November at Otley Courthouse.
We’re really excited for this years programme of films and hope that you can join Leeds Palestinian Film Festival between 10th November – 9th December. This year’s listing includes a mix of documentaries, feature films, rarely-seen works, films that move and inspire, that are serious and light-hearted, painful and joyful.
Alongside the exhibition taking place in Otley Courthouse this November, we have produced a free risograph zine including a handful of the photo’s taken from the show. The zine has been designed, printed and produced in-house by our Creative Producer Hannah Platt in The Riso Room, at Convention House.
If you can’t get your hands on a copy, you can flick through it in here…
