Join the conversation and help shape the future of vibrant Leeds area
Leeds City Council is planning to co-produce – in collaboration with the local community, landowners, existing businesses located in the area and all interested parties – a regeneration framework to define a shared ambition and action plan for the future of the area. This will seek to ensure that the growth in the area is inclusive, puts people first in the delivery of new infrastructure and better connects people to new jobs, training and learning opportunities. A key consideration will be how the key role of arts and culture can continues to thrive across the area as the area changes.
As part of this, the council is encouraging people and organisations with an interest in Mabgate to join the conversation and share their thoughts and aspirations for the area via the ‘Your Voice’ online engagement platform.
They would really love to hear your views and would be very grateful if you could head over to their website ‘Mabgate Regeneration Framework | Your Voice Leeds’ where you’ll find –
- An online survey to complete;
- A digital map allowing you to drop pins in your favourite areas & also those you feel need improvement;
- An ‘ideas’ drop box where you can share any thoughts for the future.
Paper surveys are also publicly available at the following venues:
- Merrion House One Stop Centre, Merrion Way
- East Street Arts Patrick Studios, St Mary’s Lane
- One Community Centre, Cromwell Street
- Burmantofts Community Hub & Library, Rigton Lawn
- Kirkgate Community Hub & Library, Unit 280-282 Leeds Kirkgate Market
