Rodolpho is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Civil Service
I started my career in arts marketing and communications, working with Opera North, Northern Ballet, York Theatre Royal, Cast, Saddlers Wells and Southbank Centre, among others. Since moving into Government I’ve worked on national and international issues, from COVID-19 to trade and environment. To the Board, I bring extensive arts sector knowledge and experience of policy-making, communications, and government relations. I’m also an experienced Trustee, having joined my first Board aged 24.
East Street Arts works at an incredible intersection of artists, communities, urban regeneration, and increasingly sector-leading research and campaigning. As someone who’s been involved in the arts for almost 10 years now, it’s great to be part of an organisation that’s doing things differently, is not afraid to take risks, and strives to change the sector for the better. And, as a Leeds resident, I just love our public art programme.
