Jake Krushell joined us as one of four Convention House residency artists in 2022 and also worked with us on our Season for Change project.
Jake is an artist inspired by our everyday environment and the contrast between natural and industrial materials. He often uses sculpture to purvey the impact that humans have on the landscape.
Tying together sustainable and unsustainable materials (such as timber, steel, hempcrete and plaster) he allows them to work with and against each other in a profound statement about our world.
For Season for Change, Jake created TURBINE – an energy-producing sculpture.
