Material and cloth are at the heart of Andi Walker’s practice. Rooted in quilt-making and garment forms, this solo show explores the memory of the body – a presence felt through its absence.
Each piece is layered, stitched, or worn, becoming a vessel for incomplete, unspoken or erased stories. The work weaves together personal narrative with historical struggles, particularly those surrounding LGBTQ+ identities, reflecting on how material can hold memory, embody absence, and speak to what remains unseen.
