Join us for TEST MODE, a new exhibition of risograph works from artists recently undertaking the Risograph Residency
TEST MODE brings together fifteen artists following their recent risograph residencies at Convention House, where they used the print room to develop new work and explore their creative processes. Each artist approaches image-making differently, embracing the distinctive qualities of risograph printing.
The exhibition showcases the versatility of this accessible, sustainable print method – from bold prints to intricate zines. Riso printing layers one colour at a time, creating rich overlays, vibrant hues and unique textures. Using plant-based, rice-bran inks – a byproduct of the Japanese farming industry – it is also one of the most environmentally friendly forms of print.
