Leeds hosted its first ever 3D sound week in May 2026 workshops by day, immersive performances by night.
From 13 to 17 May 2026, Patrick Studios hosted NOMADIK: 3D Sound Week led by IKLECTIK. With an installation of a one-of-a-kind 16-channel sound system was installed in the space, and the week built a full programme around it: live performances, immersive listening sessions, artist talks and professional training.
From Asian experimental noise and multisensory performances by international artists to guided workshops on future-facing spatial technologies, this is an opportunity to explore what 3D sound is and how it can be used in creation and performance.
This programme is supported by the Arts Council England and Goldsmiths, University of London. Curated and produced by East Street Arts, IKLECTIK, and Platform Asia.
