Louise Davies (she/her) is our Graphic Designer

As part of the marketing team, I look at design across all areas of the organisation. This means my role is so varied – one day I might be designing a poster for an upcoming workshop or exhibition, the next a zine or publication for one of our long-standing programmes.

I have long understood the importance of the arts and culture as a tool to engage with people, and so to focus on this as part of my job is a great feeling. I also appreciate the level of fluidity and room for experimentation that I am encouraged to practice with whilst designing for such a varied audience. I like how I can work across different media, and use analogue techniques to design with (risograph printing, screen printing and collage, to name a few).
