I am a seasoned Managing Director, with extensive experience of all aspects of running an organisation like East Street Arts, including risk, planning, strategy, finance, people, sales & marketing, and governance. This enables me to be an effective Chair, support the Directors, and offer proactive advice to keep on track with the agreed strategy.
I chose to change direction in 1992 from property to a career in the creative industries, for a more fulfilling working life. I have always admired how artists stimulate the conversation around important issues. As Chair, my ambition is to enable artists to have an even greater share of that conversation.
