An arts, technology and community hub in Mabgate.

Convention House, a 19th-century former nunnery, houses nine studio holders (artists/collectives) in a mix of private and shared studio spaces.

The building also has two small project/exhibition spaces, a large meeting room, and shared kitchen facilities. The building is next door to Patrick Studios, the headquarters of East Street Arts.

Convention House was purchased and redeveloped thanks to funding from Leeds City Council’s Tech Hub Fund and Arts Council England.

Art and tech facilities

Convention House is East Street Arts’ art, tech, and community learning hub, home to state-of-the-art facilities including laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC routing, and risograph printing.
