At East Street Arts we recognise the importance of workspace to artists, as both a physical place in which to make work and a space in which to meet and interact with other artists. We currently run three permanent studio complexes in Leeds: Patrick Studios in the city centre, Barkston House in Holbeck and recently opened Union 105 in Chapeltown. We also have an ever changing number of temporary workspaces all over the country that are readily available to creative practitioners in any discipline.  We believe that empty spaces should be utilised for productive and positive uses and our aim is to provide low cost, high quality work, project and showing space to aid practitioners in their creative development.

Spaces across our two sites often become available and we keep submitted applications on file. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and tour of the workspaces.
