Shaping Student Learning at the University of Leeds

Dates & Times:
Monday 18th September 2017 (9:30am – 1:30pm)

Venue: Northern Ballet
Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7PA

A consultation and development session for Leeds-based organisations with an interest in making better connections between the university, students, research and communities in Leeds.

By adding your voice to the conversation, you’ll join a network of organisations who will have the opportunity to work with a cohort of dedicated, enthusiastic, and creative postgraduate students who can bring specialist skills and new ideas to your organisation to address contemporary debates, challenges and opportunities

This workshop forms part of a Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) project with Leeds Institute of Teaching Excellence, which will develop new teaching and learning practices at the University of Leeds, reflecting the challenges and needs of communities and organisations in our city.

The session aims to elicit ideas, insights, perspectives and wisdom regarding current issues, debates and opportunities in the city and identify how might these be supported and informed by research from the University. There will be opportunities for networking with other participants and lunch will be provided.
