As part of COMPASS: Stimulating the Growth of Live Art in Yorkshire and the Humber From West to North to East to South and Back is a series of six performance art events taking place across Yorkshire and The Humber between November 2010 and November 2011. The series is focusing on showcasing live art in artist-run and visual art context and aims to strengthen relationship between artist-led organisations as well as to bring together practitioners, programmers and educational institutions from the region and beyond to encourage dialogue and long-term working relationship. The series is initiated and led by East Street Arts (Leeds) and curated in collaboration with Compass Associates: OUI Performance (York), Red Gallery (Hull), Bloc (Sheffield).
