East Street Arts welcomes volunteers as a crucial part of the team that enables the organisation to develop and deliver its activities. We recognise the need that volunteers fulfill, and offer meaningful and useful roles that help develop skills and experience.

We currently have volunteer opportunities to work alongside our Programme, Marketing and Temporary Spaces teams, supporting and experiencing what it takes to set up, run and promote the wide variety of activities and events that we deliver.

East Street Arts is a visual arts organisation and does not have a permanent gallery space with a rolling programme. Our work is project based which means it is of very different scales, takes place in a wide range of art and non-art spaces and is a mix of public events and activities that are targeted at professionals within the sector. Our programming is irregular, which means that we are looking for a number of volunteers who are flexible to cover events on evenings and weekends on an ad hoc basis.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, tight knit team who look after each other and are all about working hard and having fun.

Please note:
We are currently unable to accept volunteers under the age of 18
We can reimburse travel & lunch expenses up to the cost of £5 a day

The roles:
Events volunteer
Temporary Spaces Volunteer
