Paul Digby

Paul was born in Cleethorpes, North Lincolnshire and moved to various places in the North of England whilst growing up. Paul graduated in 1997 from Norwich University of the Arts and moved to London before returning north to Leeds, where he is based.

Paul has work in the Welcome Trust Collection and private collections. He has regularly exhibited and notably in the RBS Gallery, Leeds City Gallery, the Cornerhouse Manchester and the Saatchi Gallery. Paul has held residencies in High Royds and Rampton Hospital.

Paul has worked in a number of areas in education and the non-arts sector. He has worked at Leeds Met. Uni., Norwich Uni. of the Arts, York College, Harrogate College, WEA, East Street Arts and both Secondary and Primary Schools.

Paul sits on the steering group for the Yorkshire and Humber Contemporary Visual Arts Network. An organisation set up to help stimulate the regions art economy.

Paul was the Director of the National Arts and Science Network (2010-2013) that had a succession of ACE commissions for stimulating dialogue between the arts and sciences with a series of exhibitions, conferences and seminars in the Yorkshire region.
