Claire Lee

Claire’s work is eclectic in theme and varied in technique, enjoyment is taken from working with clay in any form. Inspiration and influence is taken from many places, seasons, conversations, visits and anything and everything, including requested commissions etc.

The work is in both stoneware and earthenware, hand built  with coils and slabs, also slip cast with plaster moulds.

Work is fired in an electric kiln and decorated with glaze, lustres and transfers.

Claire works from a studio at Barkston House, East Street Arts in Leeds which is shared with a fellow ceramic artist
