Wanted! An inspiring creative artist. This is a great opportunity for any artist who works on a large scale and on murals.

Leeds Reach with Groundwork Leeds have created an opportunity for an artist to work with them to produce an inspiring work of art that reflects the supportive nature of the organisation but is also complimentary to the local area and those that reside within.

It’s a challenge but something that could really add life to the shutters located at the front of the centre whilst also inspiring those that will be involved.

They are looking to commission someone to start and complete the work with a small group of young people this summer to coincide with their holiday programme which commences in August.

The chosen artist will need to show them what they can do and the person(s) with the most appropriate design will get the contract.

So if you can:

• Work professionally and respectfully with a small group of young people
• Promote what you do to inspire youths
• Create a design that captures what we require and portrays a positive image

Then they want you!

Design themes could include:

Support, positive youth culture, inspiration, unity, multiculturalism, inspiration (shutters are visible to all those that pass Chapeltown Rd).
